Misty's 5 Confessions

Abby posted 5 confessions and invited me to do the same.  Well, not personally, but she's one of my favorite bloggers and everything she posts I'm sure is with me in mind so basically, it was a personal invitation.  My narcissism isn't even one of my confessions. Ain't that somethin'.

Confession: I always draw a heart in a new jar of peanut butter before putting the peanut butter on my sandwich.  Remember those old Skippy commercials? Nobody but me ever sees the heart, but I do it with every new jar and it makes me so so happy.

Confession: My fridge is so amazingly dirty.  It's pretty disgusting, really.  But I don't care enough to clean it.  Every week I tell myself I'll do it on Thursday (Friday's garbage day) and every Thursday I decide not to do it.  It's bad.  And it's not just forgotten leftovers, either.  It's stuff that's spilled or leaked that never got cleaned up, so when I finally do it, it's going to be a HUGE deal.  Anyone wanna earn twenty bucks?

Confession: I have to register my boys for kindergarten soon (46 days, to be exact!) and every time I think about it, my stomach turns.  I'm dead serious.  I thought after 2 years of preschool, kindergarten would be no biggie, but it's totally freaking me out.  I remember my kindergarten open house!  It wasn't that long ago!  I'm really having a hard time with it.  My babies are growing up too fast.

Confession:
I have an absolute weakness for songs that have girls' names for titles.  Some of my favorites are Jane by Barenaked Ladies, Kate by Ben Folds Five, Anna Begins by Counting Crows, Anna by Hello Saferide, Annie by Mat Kearney, Ana Ng by They Might Be Giants, (I obviously love the name Anna, too), Jamie by Weezer, Jenny Jenkins by Lisa Loeb, and Layla by Eric Clapton.  Regrettably, there aren't many good 'Misty' songs.

Confession: I am so sad about the Chuck finale tonight.  Like, moping around feeling all melon-choly (MegaMind.  Booya.)  We have watched this show from day 1, never missing an episode (even before we had dvr!) and I'm so sorry to see it end.  I'm a little in love with Zac Levi.  And Adam Baldwin.  And Yvonne Strahovski.  And Captain Awesome, of course.  I'll definitely be needing some comfort food in about five hours.  Does being so sad about fictional characters make me lame?  I don't know, and I don't care.  All I know is it better have a freakin' happy ending, or I quit TV forever.

4 Shout Outs:

As I was reading through your list of "girl-named" songs I totally thought, she'd better have Jamie by Weezer :)

I can't believe you left out Jesse's Girl... Ha ha.

Really though... the peanut butter heart is my favorite. I love that. And I love peanut butter.

You should really consider doing a guest post on my blog.

I think I've figured it out. I thought you weren't blogging as much because you have been so busy and had so much going on. But I don't think it was that at all. No Pintrest=More Blog Posts. I think I like it. :)~

Okay, I am so glad I am not the only one that does that to new peanut butter!
I completely understand how you feel about your boys starting Kindergarten! I am beyond sick about my baby boy starting High School so much so that I think I need to be admitted. I just can’t believe they grow up so fast! So maybe we can have a “eat ourselves into a chocolate coma” party on their first days.
