The Comedian

This biggest child of mine is freaking hilarious.  Most of the time he means to be.  Sometimes he doesn't mean to be.  Either way, we're usually laughing when he's talking.  (Unless he's telling you how bad of a parent you are.  Yeah, we've entered that wonderful stage.  And I hear it won't end for about 20 years.)  Anywho, AJ loves to make people laugh.

He's fully grasped the concept of knock-knock jokes and if you get him started, he does not stop.  His favorite one?

{And then he laughs and laughs and laughs like it's the first time anyone's ever heard it.}

He's also a big fan of physical comedy.  When he is pretending to be scared or surprised, he takes off across the room, runs into the farthest wall, falls onto his back and twitches while he's on the ground.  {And then he laughs and laughs like it's the first time anyone's ever seen it.} [Kind of cute at home, not so cute in primary, by the way.]

He takes after his Momma and quotes lines from movies to make people laugh.  His favorite lately is "Oh, my big, blue head!" from Megamind.  And with Aaron and Melia for an audience, he always gets the reaction he's looking for.  He loves to give kisses, but thanks to a certain someone, he will ask to give you a kiss, then instead of kissing you on the cheek, will give you raspberry.  And--you guessed it--laughs hyserically.

Man, that kid does not stop talking.  He asks questions about everything - EVERYTHING! - he tells you how things work, what letter every word starts with (and sometimes even how to spell the whole darn word), and he's always offering sage advice.  The other day when Adam was leaving for work, AJ became very serious and said "Don't teach your school friends the wrong things, Dad."  {I'll try not to, bud.}  This morning, it was "Dad, I love you so much, I'm going to be you on the Wii!"  THAT is affection, my friends.

There's never a dull (or quiet) moment when you're with Ager.  We love our little goofball.
