Anniversary Fun

Bet you're all wondering what big plans we had for Anniversary #6, aren't you? Fret not: you've come to the right place.

Because I usually wear T-Shirts and Jeans (if not pajamas), have my hair in a ponytail and wear virtually no make up, I decided it would be fun to have the girls from Enizio come and make me smokin' hot for my hubby. Cassi came and was SO AWESOME! I had so much fun getting totally made over and pampered. And I was happy with the results. What do you think?

AJ & Aaron went to Grandma & Grandpa Brickey's for the night, and Adam and I ate at his very favorite restaurant. Then we went to the BYU Pregame Fireside. It was really cool. After the fireside, we went to my favorite place with Scott and Angie and then went to their house to watch a movie. (We watched Just Like Heaven, a total chick-flick, but Adam was okay with it because it has her in it.)

But the real fun was Saturday. We got to sleep in until 10:00 AM! Mmmmm, it was nice! I had surprised Adam with tickets to the BYU game. The seats were great, although the people directly behind us, to the right of us, and in front of us were SO ANNOYING! Their feigned expertise, "arm chair" coaching, and frequent summations were enough to drive us bonkers, but it was fun laughing at them and making fun of them. (Without them knowing, of course. We're not that rude.) The Cougars dominated with a 44-0 score, and we enjoyed it because all of the "big plays" happened down at our end zone. (Hall's 62-yard TD pass to Collie, two interceptions, and the lateral/fumble/incomplete pass that we recovered and scored on at the beginning of the game.) It was amazing.

A quick dinner to follow our Cougar Dogs, and some shopping completed our Anniversary Celebration. I can't believe it's been six years, but it's been a great six years, and there's no one else I'd rather be stuck with for eternity.

And now you know.
